在 Burquitlam 建立你的家園丨Building a Home in Burquitlam

每次帶客人看樓後，我都會花一至兩個小時自己周圍逛逛這個社區。這裏是 Burnaby 與 Coquitlam 的交界，因此這一區叫做 Burquitlam。這個名字非常簡單直接，將兩個社區的名字連在一起變成了一個新的名字。老公說他以前都是住在這一區的 Cottonwood，這是一個非常舊的區，所以他見到周圍都在重建，感覺很不一樣。

After showing homes to my clients, I spend one to two hours exploring the neighbourhood on my own. This area is the border between Burnaby and Coquitlam, and it is called Burquitlam. The name is simple, combining the two community names into one. My husband used to live in this area, specifically in Cottonwood, an old neighbourhood. He finds it very different now with all the new construction happening around.

雖然我見證不到30年前溫哥華的變化，但我能感受到現在這個城市的迅速發展。當年，溫哥華還是一個比較安靜的城市，生活節奏緩慢，環境優美。隨著時間的推移，溫哥華變得越來越繁榮，各類基礎設施不斷完善，新的商業區和住宅區不斷湧現，今天我就在這裏建立我的家。

Although I didn’t see the changes in Vancouver 30 years ago, I can feel the city's rapid growth now. Back then, Vancouver was a quieter city with a slower pace of life and beautiful surroundings. Over time, it has become more prosperous, with better infrastructure and new commercial and residential areas emerging. Today, I am building my home here.

Walking around this area with my husband, we went to Como Lake and talked about our hopes of making this place our home in the future.😊
